Objectives

• Enhance the visibility of TWAS among young and promising scientists, policy-makers and the media through, for example, public lectures, discussion meetings, television programmes and local newspapers/magazines
  
  
• Identify eminent scientists in the country and nominate them for TWAS membership and awards, and nurture the development of young scientists.
  
  
• Assess and strengthen the vitality and the effectiveness of TWAS activities in the country.
  
  
• Coordinate the chapters activities with the activities of other TWAS offices.
  
  
• develop a web-site, linked with the host institution and other TWAS offices.
