 Recent Activities

 TWNSO Safe Drinking Water Project (2004-5) - Prof. Munasinghe served on the Expert Advisory Board and participated in the International.  Workshop on Safe Drinking Water in    Developing Countries, Trieste, Italy, 24-26 August 2004.

 TWNSO Disaster Mitigation Project (2005-6) - Prof. Dissanayake served as Chairman of the Expert Advisory Board.

 Sri Lanka Hazard and Disaster Management (2006-7) - TWAS-SL collaborated with MIND (Sri Lanka) to organise a workshop to assist the government in developing a national policy for sustainable hazard reduction and disaster management (SHARM)

Science & Technology Policy of Sri Lanka (2007-8) - TWAS-SL is collaborating with MIND to assist the Government in preparing a S&T policy that is fully integrated with national sustainable development strategy.
